Good trainer, shipping was fine

I grabbed an O2Trainer breathing exerciser last week. It got here pretty quick, took about 4 days to get to me in Texas. The device itself feels sturdy, not flimsy or anything. Been using it for my runs and I can already feel a difference in my breathing capacity. It's easy to adjust the resistance too. Overall, I'm happy with it and it was a good purchase.

Solid trainer, some minor delays

I ordered the O2Trainer breathing exerciser with a travel case. The device itself is very well made and has been helpful for my training. It feels robust and the resistance levels are easy to switch. My only small gripe was shipping took a bit longer than expected, about 8 days to reach me on the East Coast, which felt a little slow compared to other online stores. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay, which was a plus. Overall, a good product, just wish delivery was a touch faster.

Great value on the O2Trainer Kit

I was looking for a breathing muscle trainer and compared a few brands. The O2Trainer kit caught my eye because of the discount they were running. I managed to get 15% off, which made it a really good deal compared to others. Shipping was free which was a nice bonus and it arrived in about a week. The kit included everything I needed to get started, so I didn't have to buy extra parts. For the price I paid, I feel like I got a lot of value. Definitely worth the money if you can snag a deal.

Reliable and consistent product

This is my third purchase from O2 Trainer, this time I needed a replacement O2Trainer mouthpiece and some new resistance caps. As usual, the order process was smooth and shipping was efficient, arriving in just under a week. I've always appreciated the consistent quality of their products. My original O2 Trainer is still going strong after a year, and these accessories feel just as durable. It's why I keep coming back for my training needs; they deliver every time without any hassle.

Can I use the O2 Trainer while running? Or is it just for static breathing exercises?

V Vikram 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
You definitely can, but start slow. I've seen people use it during warm-ups or light jogs. Bas Rutten even shows it in some videos. Just be mindful of your breathing and don't overdo it.
5
V Vikram 1 month ago
Probably not for max effort, no. It's more for controlled breathing under exertion.

K Kiran 1 month ago
Okay, so maybe not for sprints then?

P PoojaR 1 month ago
I tried it once on a treadmill and felt a bit lightheaded. I think it's better for static or controlled movements until you're really used to it.

Good to know. Don't want to fall off the treadmill.

Is the O2 Trainer legit? Like, does it actually help with lung capacity and cardio endurance, or is it just another gimmick?

R RahulK 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
It's legit if you use it consistently. It's an inspiratory muscle trainer, so it strengthens the muscles you use to breathe. That definitely translates to better endurance.

I've noticed a huge difference in my running. Less winded on longer distances.

N NikhilS 1 month ago
It's not an elevation mask, it's different. It's about resistance training for your lungs, not simulating altitude. People confuse that a lot.
4
G gamerraj 1 month ago
Yeah, I heard that too. So it's not trying to reduce O2, just make breathing harder?

A Arjun 1 month ago
I was skeptical too, but after a month, my breathing during my MMA training felt much more controlled. It's not a magic bullet, but it helps.

Good to know. I do boxing so that's relevant.

What's the cleaning process for the O2 Trainer? Just water or something specific?

R Rajat 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
Warm water and mild soap is usually enough. Just make sure it's completely dry before storing it. Don't want mold or anything.

A Ankit88 1 month ago
Any particular mild soap? Like dish soap or hand soap?
2
R Rajat 1 month ago
Dish soap works fine for me. Rinse it really well.

N NehaS 1 month ago
I use a small brush for the inside, like a bottle brush for baby bottles, to get into the crevices. Then just air dry.

A Ankit88 1 month ago
That's a smart idea, hadn't thought of that.

Thinking of getting the O2 Trainer but wondering about shipping times to Bangalore. How long did it take for anyone in India?

I got mine during a holiday sale, so it was a bit slower, almost 3 weeks. But usually, it's around 1.5-2 weeks.

Thinking of buying the O2 Trainer during Black Friday. Does O2Trainer.com usually have good sales then? Or should I just grab it now with a first order discount?

A AmitM 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
They usually have decent sales for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Sometimes a bundle discount with extra mouthpieces or replacement filters. Might be worth waiting.

M Meera 1 month ago
Bundle discount sounds good. I'd want the travel case too.

A AmitM 1 month ago

I got mine during a summer sale, and it was 15% off. Black Friday might be similar or a bit better. Depends on how much you want to save vs. waiting.

My O2 Trainer discount code isn't working. It's supposed to be a first order discount. Anyone else have trouble with codes on O2Trainer.com?

I used the newsletter signup deal last month and it worked fine. Maybe contact their support? They usually respond within a day.

Hey guys, thinking about getting an O2 Trainer. Does it actually come with all the resistance levels, or do I gotta buy those caps separately?

E Emma Okafor 3 months ago
Nah, it comes with a full set. You get like 16 levels right out of the box, you're good to go.

A Anna 3 months ago
Yeah, they're all in there. Started with the easiest ones and slowly worked my way up. It's pretty comprehensive.

Anyone know if there's a military discount for the O2 Trainer? My brother was asking.

D Divya 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
I think I saw a general 'first responder' type discount mentioned once, but not strictly military. Could be an older promotion though. Best to just email them directly.

R Rahul 1 month ago

6
S Sameer 1 month ago
I'm not sure if they have a specific military discount code, but sometimes they offer general discounts that anyone can use. Worth checking their site or signing up for the newsletter.

Yeah, I looked and didn't see anything obvious. He heard some brands do it.
